Green Planet
Man is largely responsible for Change in the environment and a strong effort in this direction can only keep the balance by investing in the green. We are concerned and action oriented in maintaining the green environment around us and working in planting more trees to make our green planet, through our environment related CSR activities. We could convert numerous locations into micro-habitats for diverse varieties of flora and fauna. We take cautious attempts to educate people, particularly young children about the green environment and human life.
Health & Happiness
As part of our prime health-related CSR initiatives, we organize eye and general health checkup camps in and around our plant locations through Netra Jyoti Sewa Kendra – a charitable organization established in village Kharori on Sirhind-Patiala Road, Punjab. All our health-related CSR activities are managed by the Tiwana Health Foundation, which also provides free ambulance services to the needy. Under this program, we offer dialysis machines, dental x-ray units, and other essential medical equipment to government and private dispensaries and hospitals in nearby villages.
Education and Housing
We have keen interest in providing financial help to the underprivileged section in our society for acquiring the basic education and proving roof to them to live in. For this we are having plan for each financial year to work upon. We provide financial aid the Lakshya Education Society, Sirhind providing Building funds for schools at village level along with sports goods and uniforms, Books and fees for EWS status students from villages. In addition to this we contribute with financial aid for building or reconstruction of houses for the economically week people, financial aid to the widows having EWS status at village level.
